RED CROSS OFFERS FIRST AID, CPR CLASSES

Aug. 6, 2003 — Standard first aid and CPR classes will be held on St. Croix and St. Thomas during August and September.
St. Thomas classes will be held at the Boy Scout headquarters on the waterfront. St. Croix classes will be held at the Red Cross facility at 65 Castle Coakley in Christiansted.
Standard first aid is offered on both islands Saturdays, Aug. 16 and 30 and Sept. 13 and 27. Each session is eight hours, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
CPR offers certification in adult, child and infant CPR. CPR is offered on both islands on Thursdays, Aug. 7 and Sept. 13 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Registration is required and is on a first come-first-serve basis. Each class is $50 for individuals and $45 for nonprofit and government employees. Interested persons should register early, as classes are filled quickly. To register or for more information call the local American Red Cross headquarters in the Virgin Islands at 774-0375.
