Aug. 10, 2003 — Viewing and funeral services for Matthew George of Hidden Valley, St. Thomas, will be Tuesday, Aug. 12, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Estate Tutu.
Viewing is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the church. Services begin at 9:30 a.m., with interment following in Western Cemetery No. 3.
George, who died Aug. 4, is survived by his wife, Alexandrine George; sons, Pancratius (Gratius), Henry, Cyril, Peter, Ignatius (Percy), and Andrew George and Morris Auguste; daughters, Mary Corbett Jacob, Delice Dornelly, Josephine George Phillip, Nicholina Julien Mary Joseph, Calixter George Loctor, and Justina Paul; more than 40 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
