Aug. 12, 2003 – The Water and Power Authority has scheduled a power outage between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday for a section of the area served by Feeder 8 in downtown Frederiksted.
According to a WAPA release distributed on Tuesday, the outage will affect "small sections" of Strand, Queen, King Cross, Queen Cross and Fisher Streets.
The release said WAPA is taking the power down in order to upgrade a 50 KVA transformer to a 100 KVA transformer.
