WAPA WORK TO AFFECT POWER AND TRAFFIC SUNDAY

Aug. 21, 2003 – Power will be off in the Beeston Hill and Estates Grange areas of St. Croix for about seven hours between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday, while the Water and Power Authority replaces a broken utility pole. Traffic in the area of the Caribbean Health and Fitness Complex will also be affected.
While the pole is being replaced the westbound lane from Estate Questa Verde to the complex entrance will be closed.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution if driving in the area.
