REAL ESTATE COURSE OFFERED BY UVI-CPD

September 3, 2003 – The University of the Virgin Islands Community and Personal Development Unit is offering a real estate course to St. Thomas and St. John residents who wish to prepare for the real estate licensing exam, or who simply wish to improve their knowledge of this subject.
Sessions will be taught by local Realtor Marilyn Blackhall, of ReMax/St. Thomas, and will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, October 4, 11, 18 and 25.
The all-inclusive fee for this 38 hour course is $450, but a $25 discount is available for those who register and pay by September 12.
While there are no pre-requisites for this course, those interested in sitting for the exam are reminded that in order to do so they must be sponsored by a real estate broker and will have to pre-register with the Licensing and Consumer Affairs Department.
For further information, contact the Personal Development Unit at 693-1100, or via e-mail to dpeters@uvi.edu.
