Nov. 27, 2003 – WTJX-TV/Channel 12 will air a special program at 6:30 p.m. Sunday on the recent Teens on the Green golfing event held on St. Croix.
The final tournament of the organization's 2003 World Championship Series was played at the Carambola Golf Club on Nov. 6-9. The Tourism Department was the title sponsor of the tournament, which attracted teen-age golfers from 44 states and 26 countries.
"This final championship series will be televised internationally as well as on national cable networks and locally throughout the Caribbean and Latin America in months to come," a release from Martin Public Relations, the territory's mainland p.r. agency, stated.
