GOVERNOR'S PARTIES TO HAVE MUSIC TO PARTY BY

Dec. 10, 2003 — The traditional children's Christmas parties offered by the V.I. governor each year will provide an "assortment of music entertainment for everyone's taste."
Gov. Charles W. Turnbull encourages parents and guardians to bring their children out to enjoy the event planned especially for the youth of our communities, said a release. Food and drink will be served at the festivities on each of three islands.
St. Thomas' party is Thursday, Dec. 11, from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Emancipation Garden. It will feature music from Joseph Sibilly, Leonard Dober and M. J. Kirwan elementary school students; the V.I. Lutheran Youth Choir, and solos by Ronaqua Russell and Crystal Hendricks.
It's St. Croix's turn Saturday, Dec. 13, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Agricultural Fairgrounds. Games and raffles are planned for children, and a disc jockey will be on hand to provide a variety of music.
St. John's party will be Monday, Dec. 15, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Cruz Bay park bandstand. St. John children will party to music by the Love City Pan Dragons Band, the Love City Leapers, and the Juvenile Delinquency Protection Program Marching Band.
