WAPA CUSTOMER SERVICE HOURS OVER HOLIDAYS

Dec. 23, 2003 – The Water and Power Authority has announced the following changes in its normal customer service office hours over the yearend holidays:
Thursday, Dec. 25 — all offices closed for Christmas Day.
Friday, Dec. 26 — all offices closed for Boxing Day.
Saturday, Dec. 27 — offices on St. Thomas and St. Croix open from 8 a.m. to noon.
Thursday, Jan. 1 — all offices closed for New Year's Day.
Friday, Jan. 2 — St. Croix office open from 8 a.m. to noon; St. Thomas and St. John offices open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 3 — St. Croix office closed for the Crucian Festival Adults Parade; St. Thomas office open from 8 a.m. to noon.
Tuesday, Jan. 6 — all offices closed for Three Kings Day holiday.
WAPA is advising customers to "avoid long lines by paying utility bills at Banco Popular, Virgin Islands Community Bank and FirstBank" and reminding them of the option to "deposit checks or money orders in payment drop boxes which are available at all customer service locations."
Customers in need of emergency assistance over the holidays should call 773-2250 or 773-0150 for St. Croix, and 774-1424 for St. Thomas and St. John.
