Here are the details for runners, volunteers and cheerers who may need help to decide if they'll run one, two, or all three races.
At 6 a.m. on Jan. 1 the St. Croix Marathon Relay Road Race will be held. Relay teams of six runners will run 5k, 10k, 5k, 10k, 5k and 7k, said a release. The race starts at the entrance of the former Grapetree Bay Hotel, a mile west of the Divi Carina Beach Hotel, on the North Shore Road.
At 11 a.m. on Jan. 2 will be the annual running of the Children Race. The race is for boys and girls 13 and under, and the distance is 800 meters. The race starts at the corner of King St. and Fisher St. in Frederiksted and finishes at Fort Frederik.
At 11 a.m. on Jan. 3 the annual Three Kings Mile Road Race will take place. The one-mile race is open to participants of all ages. The race begins at the Claude O. Markoe School in Frederiksted and finishes at Fort Frederik, following the official parade route.
