SERVICE THURSDAY FOR MARILYN ASTA YEARWOOD

Jan. 11, 2004 — Marilyn Asta Yearwood of St. Thomas, age 62, died Jan. 4 in Washington, D.C.
Viewing and service will be Thursday, Jan. 15, at Frenchtown Evangelistic Assembly. Viewing will be from 8 to 10 a.m and the funeral at 10 a.m., with burial to follow in Western Cemetery. Arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home.
Better known as "Ma" or "Lyn," she is survived by sons, Louis "Tula" Bess and Horace Peets; daughters, Lois Curtis, Luisa Rosado-Fahie, Lorna Freeman, Lorraine Bess, Laura Bess, LaVonne "Afro" Bess-Hernandez and Zelda Peets; brother, James "Yankee" Yearwood; sisters, Almena Yearwood and Estrid "Aunt Jemima" Yearwood-Charles; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many other friends and relatives.
