Jan. 17, 2004 – Sonny "Tempo" Williams of Estate Thomas died Jan. 4 at the Roy L. Schneider Hospital. He was 53.
Viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 19, followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. Both will be at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Western Cemetery No. 3.
Williams is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Williams; daughter, Kenia Williams; sons, Wendell, Taheem and Seymour; brothers, Baker and Ramond; sisters, Bethel, Joan and Verna; grandchildren, Aureloi and Charnol Williams; and many other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are by the Davis Funeral Home.
