Friday, Jan. 23. Jazz @ Coral World. 7 p.m. Boston area Jazz Saxophonist and Cadence recording artist, Joel Press, will be doing his thing with the Vin Phillip Quartet as part of the new jazz series being held at the landmark St. Thomas marine sanctuary. $15 at the door and $5 for students will benefit a scholarship fund for V.I. graduates who plan to study Jazz in college.

Thursday, Jan. 22. Roy L. Schneider Hospital. Noon to 2 p.m. The men who grace the pages of the 2004 Roy L. Schneider Hospital/Myrah Keating Smith Center calendar – a dozen of the health centers' professional beaus – will be signing autographs in the hospital lobby for those who purchase a calendar.
Now thru Feb. 13. Bella Blu @ Frenchtown. The first art show of the year at Bella Blu – formerly known as Alexander's – features the work of St. Thomian artist, David Hill. His work in this show, his second at the Frenchtown eatery/gallery, displays a rich, introspective understanding of the physical and emotional power the ocean. Hill's work is available for purchase and will remain at Bella Blu through Feb. 13.

Sunday, Feb. 1. University of the Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Center. Noon to 6 p.m. The Hebrew Congregation of St. Thomas will hold it's fifth annual Antiques, Art and Collectibles Auction . A preview of the work for auction will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Jan. 31, and again at 10 a.m. on Feb. 1.
