HAULERS, TRANSPORTERS FACE JAN. 31 DEADLINE

Jan. 28, 2004 – Saturday is the deadline for St. John waste haulers and transporters to get their vehicles inspected and obtain their registration, Government House announced on Wednesday.
"All vehicles utilized in the transport of waste, debris or [other] vehicles must be inspected by enforcement officer Rascio O'Quendo of the St. John division," Public Works Commissioner Wayne Callwood said.
Vehicle inspections can be scheduled by calling the St. John Public Works office at 776-6346.
