Feb. 2, 2004 – The Finance Department issued a reminder on Monday that the enforcement section of its Treasury Division is now closed to the public daily from 2 to 5 p.m. so that employees can work on a backlog of requests for property tax-clearance letters. All inquiries regarding tax-clearance letters and other tax matters will be addressed between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. until further notice.
