Writer Is Thankful for SBA Visit

Dear Source,

Having Hector Barreto, Small Business Association administrator, visit our islands and spend time to express the commitment of SBA was an inspiration to me.
As with any governmental agency it seems like everything is tied to paperwork and/ or out of reach to the general public. But it doesn't have to be so confusing if one utilizes the resources that are locally at hand. We've all heard the numbers before about the billion's of dollars that are available -many have even experienced the relief of SBA funding. But, having a face, a voice – the ability to shake a hand – makes it much more realistic.
Thank you Mr. Barreto for taking the time to put a face, a voice — and a handshake to the SBA commitment in the USVI.
Phyllis Bryan, St. Croix, V.I.
