Aug. 1, 2004 — The Government Employees' Retirement System informs members and retirees that loan applications will not be processed between Aug. 18 and Oct. 4.
This suspension is necessary to allow for the closing of accounts for fiscal year 2004, a release said.
Processing of loan applications will resume on Monday, Oct. 4.
Until Aug. 18, loan applications will be accepted on Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. All applicants are reminded that they must bring a valid picture identification and their last two consecutive check stubs with them.
