Meeting to Detail Mon Bijou Flood Control Project

Aug. 6, 2004 – A public meeting on the Mon Bijou Flood Control Project is set for 6 p.m. Monday in the John H. Woodson Junior High School auditorium.
According to a Government House release issued on Friday, residents of the Mon Bijou and Glynn communities especially are urged to attend.
The flood control project is a joint venture of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the V.I. government. Representatives of the Army Corps and the Public Works Department "will explain the project in detail and various aspects of the construction as the contractor moves toward the actual start date," the release stated.
