Aug. 16, 2004 – Classes don't begin until Aug. 25 at Michael J. Kirwan Elementary School, but Principal Whitman Browne is encouraging parents to come by the office anytime starting Wednesday to make arrangements needed to get the new school year off to a smooth start.
For one thing, they can pay their children's workbook, insurance and technology fees. For another, they can supply the youngsters' updated immunization records, which are required in order for pupils to attend classes.
