Writer Happy That Jazz Is Hot on St. Croix

Dear Source,
I am happy to see that Steve Simon is helping to keep "good" live music going in the Virgin Islands. (See "Sunset Jazz and More (and More) with Steve Simon").
My name is Craig Haynes and I was one of the performers in the first "Jazz in the Moonlight" concerts. It was held at Mongoose Junction on St. John a couple of years ago and went over very well. I am actually a native New Yorker but was living on St. John at the time. I am planning to become a resident in the USVI again this fall.
After reading the article by Jean Etsinger, I am considering St. Croix (although my heart is still in St. John). If there are really THAT many real jazz fans in St. Croix, then perhaps that will be my new home. Any feedback and/or info regarding this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Craig Haynes
