I was a student at St. Croix Central High School. I graduated in 1994. I am very impressed with what you guys are doing in the Virgin Islands for the schools. I wish they had done that back when I went to high school. (See The Long and Short of It: School Code Being Enforced.) Don't get me wrong: Back then it was strict, but now I see that you guys are shaping up and getting the parents involved. We really need the parents to do their part and school will run smooth. Please keep up the good work. I live in North Carolina and I read the newspaper for St. Croix everyday and when I hear good news like this it makes me feel so proud of my island. Good job.
