Writer Defends Golfing on St. Croix

Dear Source,
I was checking the Net to make sure the beautiful Island of St. Croix was safe. I will be there sometime in October through November to assist with Teens On The Green. I look forward to this tournament each year so I can visit St. Croix.
I was dumbfounded to see the article by T. McDonald. The man is a nut. I have always brought 10 to 12 youths and a number of adults each year since TOG began having the Finale in St. Croix. I can't say enough about how friendly the locals are and how gracious they have treated all of us. It makes you want to make St. Croix home. I know that I seriously considered it. I would still love to spend more time there.
Mr. McDonald is what is considered in Europe as an ugly American. They don't like themselves, so why should they like anyone else or any other place. I ran into many of them while visiting Europe. I was truly embarrassed by their actions and did on a couple of occasions tell them what I thought of them. I was applauded in one wine bar by all of the patrons in Ruhesheim after reading some the riot act.

Tell Mr. McDonald for me "Get a Life!"

Yours in progress
