Funeral Service is Monday for Arthur C. Petersen, who died Wednesday, Oct 6 at his residence in Anna's Hope. Petersen was 68.
Petersen is survived by his wife, Cleona E. Petersen; sons Cedric A. Petersen (TX), Arthur C. Petersen Jr., Ronald C. Petersen(MN), Ray A, Petersen Sr., Shelton I. Petersen(NY), Eric K. Petersen (MN), Jeffrey M. Petersen (TX), Brian J. Petersen, Brett Petersen (TX), Roger Petersen, Kurt R. Petersen (LA), Troy R, Millington. Petersen was predeceased by sons Delroy Millington and Sean P. Millington. Also surviving Petersen are his daughters, Stephanie Petersen Brinkley, Kimberly Petersen (TX), Tracy Petersen Hardee (TX), Neicia C. Millington and Beverly A. Lewis (TX). He is predeceased by daughter Ruebel Petersen. Petersen is also survived by nieces Andrea M. Albert-Coleman (NY), Irene L. Van Purten (NY), Lynette T. Harrison- Charleston (SC), Zina Collins (NY), Drislia Thomas (NY), Zonia Thomas (NY), Cheryl Thomas- Diehl (CA), Elaine Shirley (NY), Lorraine Thomas (NY), Ingrid Lee (FL), Karin H Albert (FL); nephews Robert T. Albert Jr,(FL), Douglas A. Thomas (NY), Earl Petersen (NY); great nieces: Monique L. Van Putten, (NY), Kianna L, Van Putten (NY), Nicole Albert (FL), Gabriel Albert (OH) and Destiny Thomas (NC), Erica and Mekeda Oats (FL), Gerjeau Thames, Esq. (MD); great nephews Christian M. Coleman (NY), Tyler L. Coleman (NY), Marcus Albert (FL); special friends Mercedes A. Millington, Doreen G. Petersen was pre-deceased by his brothers Eric, Vernon and Elwin Petersen. He is survived by cousins Aldredo Tull, Julia Tull-Carter, Piccola Morris- Martin (STT), June Morris- Turnbull (STT), Orlean Petersen-Parson, Mauriel Petersen-George, David Heyliger, Ohanio Harris, Mildred Petersen-Jolly (STT), Emelda Petersen-Hugh, Sylvia Edwards- Leerdam (NY), Grace Gregory (STT), Mildred Petersen (ST.T), Ruth Hansen (STT), Alvin Petersen (STT), Liston Lewis (STT); daughters-in-law Linda Delemos-Petersen, Jerrian Petersen (MN), Juaarleen Petersen, Wilma Millington, Rozalyn R. Walker; sisters-in-law Mary Dean Petersen (NY), Beryl H. Thomas (NY) and Eva Thomas (NY); son-in-law Thomas M. Brinkley.
The viewing begins at 9 a.m. at Beeston Hill Wesleyan Holiness Church followed at 10 a.m. by the funeral. Petersen will be interred in the Veteran's section of the Kingshill Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
