$5000 Merit Scholarships Announced by Good Hope

Jan. 7, 2005 – The Good Hope School is offering two new students entering the upper school, grades 9-12, a $5000 merit scholarship per year for up to four years of their secondary school education. The deadline for applications is Jan. 28. Please call Eileen Hill, admissions' coordinator, at 772-0022 for an application.
According to a press release from the school, candidates should exhibit academic excellence, strength of character, sound values, and a passion for learning, and will be chosen based on their scholastic records, personal interview, a required essay, and the school's own admissions test. Testing will be Feb. 26 on The Good Hope School campus.
The Good Hope School provides college-preparatory curriculum, according to the release, that guides a student's ability to to think critically, creatively, independently, and globally.
