Feb. 4, 2005 – In observance of Martin Luther King Day and Black History Month, the Sigma Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is holding a Book Drive to benefit the AKA Reading AKAdemy and other school libraries.
The Reading AKAdemy is located on the campus of Julius E. Sprauve Elementary School. This program is open to Sprauve students and to any child that is interested in learning and improving their reading skills.
Please donate new and gently used books at the following locations:
– Julius Sprauve School'
– St. Thomas/St. John Post Offices,
– And Ital Ase’ Botanica.
