West Indian Furniture Auction Rescheduled

Feb 10, 2005 – The Caribbean Museum Center of Arts in Frederiksted and the Medical Clinic in Frederiksted will benefit from an antique furniture auction on Feb. 12 and 13 from 1 to 5 p.m. at 4A Orange Grove, the former Bingo Building, west of Christiansted on Highway 75, next to the Garden Spot.
The auction had originally been scheduled in mid January, but the furniture did not arrive in time.
The furniture is West Indian mahogany that was in Denmark and restored there. It's been shipped back here for the auction. Each piece has been authenticated.
The furniture can be previewed through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m.
