Conference to Feature Gospel Artist Ben Tankard

March 8, 2005 – Impacting Your World Christian Ministries presents its second annual Spring and Easter Conference Wednesday, March 23, through Friday, March 25 at Palms Court Harbor View Hotel.
Pastors Gerald and Sharon McDonald of the Ministries invite the public to a conference featuring nine-time Stellar and eight-time Dove Award winner gospel-jazz instrumentalist Ben Tankard, plus many visiting preachers, a Passover Meal, and a prayer and healing service. This year's theme is "Come Alive in 2005, It is Time to Thrive – The Year of Overflow."
The conference begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, with Dr. Yvonne Capehart of Sisters Keepers Ministries in Pensacola, Fla. At noon Thursday, March 24, Impacting Your World will feature the "Christ in the Passover Meal" with Messianic Jewish born-again believers Mr. and Mrs. Deke Silverman from Dallas, Texas. At 7 p.m. Holy Thursday, acclaimed Gospel artist Ben Tankard will join the conference. Award-winning Tankard, who has been nominated three times for a Grammy and 34 times for a Stellar Award, will be ministering on keyboard on Thursday and Friday. Also on Thursday, Pastor Gerald McDonald will deliver a dynamic message.
Good Friday, March 25, will feature three powerful anointed services. Friday's events begin with a "Prayer and Healing" service at 10 a.m. At noon, six pastors will deliver "The Last Seven Words of Jesus from the Cross." The special speakers include Dr. Veronica Graham, pastor of True Life International Healing Ministry; Drs. Ben and Jewel Tankard, pastors of Destiny Center; prophetess Brenda Todd, founder of Gethseminary Prayer Institute; and pastors Gerald and Sharon McDonald. The Friday evening service at 7 p.m. will feature evangelist Laura Pickett — psalmist, songwriter, author, world-renown speaker, pastor and president of Pickett Outreach Ministries in Atlanta, Ga.
