St. George Botanical Gardens Gets $10,000

May 17, 2005 –– The Institute of Museums and Library Services has awarded the St. George Botanical Gardens $10,055 in grant funding. Delegate Donna M. Christensen made the announcement Tuesday in a press release.
The sum of $2,325 will be used for the Museum Assessment Program, which will provide technical assistance that will allow the museum to better plan for the future.
The Conservation Assessment Program will receive $7,730. The money will be used to fund a two day visit by a conservation professional who will provide an overall assessment of the grantee's conservation efforts.
