Children's Storytelling and Bookmaking Sessions

The Forum and the Department of Planning and Natural Resources/Division of Libraries will be holding workshops on all islands this summer to teach 3rd and 4th graders to create a story with illustrations and to turn it into a published and bound book that they can take home at the end of a two-hour session. There will also be two training sessions for teachers and those interested in conducting such workshops in the future. Each session is limited to 20 children. To preserve a space in advance call Carol McGuiness at 776-6359. Workshops will be at Elaine Ione Sprauve Library on Thursday, July 14, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. There will be a Training Session on July 14 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
