Good News for Humane Society

Dear Source,
The news that the Humane Society of St Thomas exceeded it's goal to meet Randy Knight's wonderfully philanthropic gesture is awesome. The news was put out by innumerable people on many internet forums and the response was incredible both from local contributors and from eople stateside who both called the Humane Society directly or emailed their memberships.
I would like to give accolades to the Humane Society of St Thomas Board of Directors for having had the foresight to hire Joe Elmore as executive director of the Humane Society of St. Thomas.
As a past president of the Humane Society, I know how difficult that job can be. Joe Aubain has done a great job but his term is almost up. Whoever is elected the next president of the Humane Society, must perforce be a mover and a shaker who can work with Joe Elmore and with the Board. This is a crucial time for the Humane Society. The Board has to go along with that nasty Ann Robinson and say. "You ARE the weakest link, goodbye! And get rid of those who just want board membership on their resume but who've done nothing. Not to mention those those who (YIKES!) have served on the board and are notduly paid members
Sincerely yours,
Anna Clarke
