July 22, 2005 – Cassandra Prince Tuitt, also known as "Cassie", died on July 14 at her home in Sugar Estate on St.Thomas. She was 85 years old.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth "Roach" Tuitt, and grandson, Kenneth Tuitt Jr. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Keanu and Jayda Tuitt, a stepdaughter, Doris Tuitt Harris, a daughter-in-law, Susan Jusu, and a granddaughter-in-law, Joann Tuitt. Other survivors include many relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Her daughter, Viveca Tuitt De Castro, preceded her in death.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday, July 27, from 9-10 a.m. and a service following at 10 a.m. at Nisky Moravian Church. Interment will be at Moravian Cemetery.
