July 22, 2005 – Pavia Hospital is offering free prostate cancer screening tests on Saturday, Aug. 6, and Sunday, Aug. 7, at the Hospital Information Center in the Grand Hotel across from Emancipation Park, St. Thomas. Early detection is treatable and lifesaving.
According to a press release from Pavia Hospital, the test is recommended for all men 40 years and older. The sponsors of the free testing are: Pavia Hospital, Lockhart Reality, Baker and Magrass Insurance, MSI Building Supply, FirstBankVI, Abbot Laboratories, Diamonds International and SkyMed.
