It is truly sad to see that on the island that I call home, St Thomas, that there is a spread of bad heroin still going around the community. I am currently off island living at this time but my heart and soul still goes out to all my fellow islanders and I truly feel sad to see that such a drug is taking lives away from the island's community. I have faith in our government in the Virgin Islands that they're going to crack down on this drug spread and rid our island of such a deadly drug, I just pray it's more sooner than later for this to happen. A person on heroin or doing heroin is no role model or to be looked upon as being a role model to our youths! We need programs set up and to be put in place to show the community and especially the youths that heroin does takes lives and that our lives will be much better off without any bad drugs in our bodies, period, and as a community, we all need to come together and not only help out one another but we need to save lives from this deadly drug.
