UVI Librarian Grant

This grant obtained by UVI is literally a gift from the gods. A large part of our literacy problem in the Virgin Islands is because our public and school libraries are understaffed and under stocked. Even with 26 qualified librarians in the next five years, we will still have staffing problems because of salaries, and we will still have inadequate libraries because we aren't buying enough books and computers. BUT every little bit helps, and those new librarians will aid in requesting/demanding more and showing us all what is possible. Congratulations to the staff at UVI for having this foresight.
