Another Dissatisfied Vitelco Customer Heard From

Dear Source,
I, too, am totally dissatisfied with my Innovative telephone service. Our neighborhood in Estate Dorothea has been without local phone service since July 24th. There have been no announcements, to my knowledge , as to why or when we can expect the restoration of service. This is typical of Innovative. I called in to 912, I went into the innovative telephone company, filed a written report and have called numerous times to attempt to find out when the phones lines would be back in service. I did get one phone line back in service yesterday but am still waiting for the other to be restored. 19 plus days is entirely too long!
This is the 3rd time in 1 1/2 yrs. that I have been without local phone service for up to 3 weeks each time. When you report your problem, you are told that no one is able come to provide service or fix your line to your home or business for 3 to 4 weeks. This lack of service is inexcusable in this day and age.
We continue pay top dollar for mediocre (at best) service. The only way to correct this situation is to have some competition so that the people may choose their own service provider. In addition, Innovative should be forced to print all of the phones numbers that are out of service, on a daily basis, in all the local newspapers. This should include the number of days that those telephones have been without service. I am sure that would be quite an eye opener for the PSC and all of us that are forced to depend on only one telephone company.
