Aug. 24, 2005 — The Red Hook Community Alliance is holding a Save Vessup Beach cleanup and barbeque Sunday, Sept. 4, from 9 a.m. until …. Cleanup will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Volunteers are needed! Bags and gloves will be provided.
Barbeque will start at 11 a.m. Drinks and food will be provided. The event is open to all.
Community-minded individuals are urged to "Come out and join the fun and support the preservation of our precious Vessup Beach!" Call 344-2143 for further information.
