Aug. 27, 2005 – The V.I.Water and Power Authority scheduled an electric outage for a small section of St. Croix for Saturday morning. It was expected to be back on at noon.
This service interruption, which was originally planned for last Sunday, affects customers in La Vallee, Rust-Up Twist, Cane Bay, Betsy Jewel, Little Fountain, Blue Mountain, Mon Bijou and Frangipani.
WAPA will relocate the aerial lines that are running over the proposed Frangipani bypass, which is currently under construction by the Department of Public Works. Motorists are asked to drive with caution, obey all traffic signs and flaggers while this service enhancement effort is underway.
