Dec. 13, 2005 – The V.I. Waste Management Authority announced in a press release Tuesday that the failed air relief valve in the force main sewer line in the Estate Cottage area was repaired Monday afternoon. The Authority was able to isolate the failed valve at approximately 4:25 p.m., which allowed the Figtree pump station and force main to be placed back online.
In its release, the Authority apologized for any inconveniences that this problem may have caused the residents of Estate Cottage.
