Jan. 3, 2006 – Rene Similien Danet died on Dec. 31, at Roy Lester Schneider Hospital at the age of 81.
She is survived by her daughter, Maureen Danet Truss; sons: James and Robert Danet; sister, Nancy La Place; and brothers: John and Leon Danet. She is also survived by grandchildren: William and Rennie Truss, and Troy, Chad, Sean, Shannon and Shanda Danet; great-grandchildren: Antonio and Yisette Danet, and Kaden and Avery Truss; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing on Monday, Jan. 9, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel to be followed by a second viewing that day from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., at the Frenchtown Evangelistic Assembly. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., at the Frenchtown Evangelistic Assembly. Interment is at Western Cemetery No. 1.
