Jan. 26, 2006 – The UVI Small Business Development Center in collaboration with the U.S. Small Business Administration present a seminar titled: "SBA's 8(a) Business Development and Procurement Program Orientations and Procedures to Secure Federal Government Contracts."
The seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the Legislature Conference Room in Cruz Bay, St. John. The presenter is Carl Christensen, project officer of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Pre-registration is required. Admission is free.
You don't have to be a big company to do business with the federal government. The basic process takes time to set up; however, the pay offs down the road can be substantial.
