News Brief: Rental Properties Needed for Incoming Teachers

Jan. 31, 2006 – People with an apartment to rent to teachers are urged to make that fact known to the Human Resources Division at the Education Department.
Education Department spokesman Juel Anderson said that the department keeps a list so they can provide the information to teachers who are relocating to the territory.
"Recruiting is ongoing," she said.
This means that teachers may arrive in months other than the start of school in the fall.
Human Resources director Alscess Lewis-Brown said the listings are posted in the division's office.
Fax listings to the Human Resources Division office at 774-2142 on St. Thomas and 773-5844 on St. Croix.
For more information, call the Human Resources Division at 774-0100 on St. Thomas and 773-1095 on St. Croix.
