Archaic Marriage Law Should Stay

I think this is a good law and should remain on the books, maybe changed a bit. If the couple cannot agree on a common name I do not think they should get married, it is a sign of future problems. My wife did not change her name and it causes small problems when she travels with the kids, whom have my name and is a source of embarrassment at times for me. To make the law a bit more fair the law should state that before a couple gets married they must agree on a common name which could be his last name or her last name or some other last name but I feel they should have the same last name.
