Marriage Law Should be Wiped from Books

Dear Source:
I disagree with Mr. Struedell: the marriage law should change. By changing the last name issue of the marriage law, both options would exist if couples want the same last name or not. Couples would have a choice of whether to use same name or not. That is a personal choice and should not be a law forcing the issue of same names. My son and I have different last names and it has never been a problem in traveling or with anything else.
The number of documents that have to be changed with a name change, on the other hand, has been a problem. I believe women and couples should have the right to choose. Choice of names is a very personal issue. The law is archaic and needs to go.
