Virgin Islands Leaders Have Failed Education

Dear Source:
I am from St Croix, but I currently live in Germany. I feel so ashamed that the Governor and Lt Governor of the U.S.V.I. have not done more to better the condition of the schools in the territory. You would think that because they both have backgrounds in education, the schools would be priority number one. I attended John Woodson School the first year it opened, and I am surprised of the condition that the school is in right now. I guess corruption will always be a winner in U.S.V.I. politics.
