Foul Play Ruled Out in Apparent Hanging Death

Feb. 21, 2006 – Police do not suspect foul play in the death of a St. John man, Police Sgt. Thomas Hannah said Tuesday.
Hannah would not release the man's name because his family had not been notified.
The man apparently committed suicide Monday by hanging himself in Coral Bay. His body was found in the mangroves that fringe Coral Bay Harbor.
Hannah said the man was in his 40s, but Hannah was unable to provide any further information.
Coral Bay resident Alan Mohler, who knew the individual, said the man "was a good artist and did wood carving and artwork."
