Weng Friedman to Close Arts Alive Season

Feb. 27, 2006 — Arts Alive is closing its 2005-06 season with pianist Donna Weng Friedman at 8 p.m. March 29 in Tillett Gardens.
Weng Friedman has played at Tillett Gardens in the past. She has also played in China, South America, Europe and the United States, including shows at Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center.
Weng Friedman has played piano since the age of seven. She earned her master's degree from Juilliard. She was the music supervisor and pianist for the documentary film "Frames of Life," and she recorded and edited the music for the documentary film "Living Liberty."
Tickets for the concert only are $30. A pre-fixe dinner is an additional $6. Reservations are required. Tickets are available at Kazooti Clay Studio in Tillett Gardens, Monday – Friday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information or reservations, call 776-8566.
