News Brief: Acting Governor Nominates Two for CZM Commission

March 14, 2006 — Acting Gov. Vargrave Richards nominated two V.I. residents to serve on the Coastal Zone Management Commission.
Richards nominated St. Croix resident Robert L. Merwin, the president and managing director of Robert L. Merwin & Co., which imports hardware and other supplies.
Richards nominated educator Henry Theodore Harrigan, who is from St. Thomas. With more than 30 years in secondary-level education, Harrigan has helped hundreds of students as guidance counselor at Addelita Cancryn Junior High School.
Richards' nominations must be approved by the Legislature.
