March 17, 2006 – The V.I. Police Department advises that parking restrictions will be in effect for Christiansted on Saturday for the St. Patrick's Day Parade.
From 8 a.m. until the parade is completed there will be no parking on King or Company Streets from Market Street to the Wharf area; or on Church, Market or Hospital Streets between King and Company Streets.
Vehicles parked in these areas will be ticketed or towed at owners' expense.
Traffic heading east into Christiansted will be rerouted at Fredenstahl, and traffic heading west will be rerouted on Queen Street.
If your car is towed, call the Ancilmo Marshall Command at 773-2530.
