April 5, 2006 – Efel George died on March 31, at his residence in Estate Annas Retreat on St. Thomas, at age 86.
He is survived by his wife, Jauna George; sons: Roland George, Anthony Drayton George and Charles George; and daughters: Avrel George, Jean Price, Ruby Correia and Christiana Brown. Other survivors include brother, Vancito George; sisters: Marigold Torres, Adeline Gibbs and Centhelia Turnbull; 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m., on Monday, April 10, at the Church of God of Prophecy, in Donoe intersection. The funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. and interment will be at West End Cemetery No. 11.
