Political Leadership Forum for Women Held
The United States Virgin Islands Commission on the Status of Women, The Women of Color Living in the Virgin Islands Path to Health Justice and Generation Now have joined to present a forum on women's leadership entitled "Claiming Political Power: Moving More Women into Public Office."
The forum will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Saturday, April 22, at Gertrude's Restaurant. Registration is $30. Breakfast and lunch are included in the fee. The public is invited and early registration is recommended.
Prominent elected and appointed leaders and grassroots political strategists will provide insight and expert information to the audience.
