Southgate Beach Clean Up Planned

May 2, 2006 – The St. Croix Environmental Association (SEA) and the CRABBS Drive Club will host a beach clean up at Southgate Coastal Reserve, from 8 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, May 13.
This clean up is especially for kids, so teachers are asked to bring their students. Everyone will meet at the main parking area at the north end of the driveway. Wear closed shoes (very important to prevent injury), a hat, and gloves if you have them. Don't forget sunscreen and insect repellent. Gloves, trash bags and water will be provided.
Just prior to the start of the beach clean up, a native tree will be planted as a memorial to Marian Taylor Parker, an avid nature lover and long time SEA supporter. Everyone is welcome.
Call Pam Lancaster, CRABBS at 277-8141 or SEA at 773-1989 for sign-up.
